|Virtual details||The virtual public meeting will be posted on this web page beginning by Monday, May 2, 2022 at 4 p.m. and will remain online through on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. Please note, this is not a live event. The materials can be viewed at your convenience.|
|Purpose||The purpose of the public meeting is to gather public input on the initial adoption of the 2023-2026 Rural Transportation Improvement Program for the projects in Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Grayson, Hopkins, Hunt, Lamar, Rains, and Red River counties. A short presentation, materials for review, and opportunity for comment will be available.|
The Rural TIP includes all regionally significant projects to be funded within a TxDOT District during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding. As such, these meetings offer the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities. A project in the Rural TIP is a project coming to your community. The Rural TIP is the first step on the road to producing a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
The Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. A short presentation and exhibits showing how the Rural TIP operates and projects included in it will be displayed at the public meeting.
|Accessibility||The virtual public meeting will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. Please contact Stacy Taylor, TxDOT Paris District at 903-737-9255 no later than 4 p.m. CT, April 27, 2022.
