Public Meeting - Transporation Improvement Program

| Purpose: | The Texas Department of Transportation is seeking comments on the initial adoption of the proposed FY 2015-2018 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the Paris District, including the public’s ideas for the improvement and growth of the transportation system and to hear which improvements have been scheduled in this area. TxDOT staff will be on hand to discuss the project development plan and schedule and to answer questions. TxDOT’s Paris District consists of Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Grayson, Hopkins, Hunt, Lamar, Rains, and Red River counties. TxDOT officials will accept comments from the public regarding the plan and give the public the opportunity to comment on any other transportation projects. Project listings and maps will be available for review at the meeting. | ||
| Description: | The TIP is a mechanism used by TxDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to fund projects for the next four years and includes all federally funded projects. | ||
