Outer Route Open House and Public Meeting

Presentation: 7 p.m.
Purpose: The purpose of the open house and public meeting is to present information and gather input on route options for a proposed outer route from US 84 northwest of Lubbock to US 84 southeast of Lubbock.
Description: The Lubbock Outer Route Study is in its second phase of development. The first phase was initiated to determine the feasibility of an outer route and concluded in 2010 with a finding of feasibility for a four-lane divided highway in 2030. During this second phase, additional analysis is being conducted to identify a specific route for the proposed highway.

This is a rescheduled public meeting originally scheduled for Feb. 4, but postponed because of inclement weather. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting and provide comments at any time on or before Friday, March 7, 2014.
