Purpose:
The purpose of the public meeting is to present the proposed project and route locations to the public and receive comments.
Description:
The Lubbock Outer Route is in its third phase of development. More information about the feasibility and route studies is located on its project page.
Maps showing the proposed project’s routes and geometric design will be available for viewing at the public meeting. This information will also be available for public inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the TxDOT Lubbock District Office located at 135 Slaton Road, Lubbock, TX, 79404-5201.
All interested residents are invited to attend this public meeting to express their views and discuss the project with TxDOT representatives. Written comments from the public regarding this project are requested and may be presented for a period of 15 calendar days following the meeting. Written comments may be emailed to the email link below, faxed to (806) 748-4380, or mailed to Steven Warren, P.E., at 135 Slaton Road, Lubbock, TX 79404-5201.
The public meeting will be conducted in English. People interested in attending the meeting who have special communication or accommodation needs, or need an interpreter, are encouraged to contact the TxDOT Lubbock District Public Information Office at (806) 748-4472. Requests should be made at least two days prior to the public meeting.
