Purpose TxDOT is conducting the SH 225 and I-610 East Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study that covers SH 225 from I-610 East to SH 146 and I-610 East from Telephone Road to Gellhorn Drive in Harris County, Texas.

The purpose of the public meeting is to present transportation alternatives and receive public comments. An earlier set of public meetings was held in 2022 and public comments from those events along with stakeholder input was considered in the development of the alternatives. The final results of the study will be used as a resource to inform future roadway improvement projects that would be subject to environmental review.

The public meeting will be conducted in English and Spanish. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English or Spanish is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English or Spanish, one will be provided to you free-of-charge.
