Notice Affording Opportunity for Public Hearing - SH 105

Purpose: Anyone may request that a public hearing be held covering the social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed State Highway (SH) 105 Widening Project, from Walden Road to Old River Road in Montgomery County.

In the event that a public hearing is requested, one would be scheduled and notices providing information about the hearing date and location would be published in this publication. Notices would also be mailed to elected officials and adjacent property owners. 
Description: Proposed improvements include the following:
  • Addition of one westbound travel lane on SH 105
  • Construction would occur within existing right-of-way (ROW)
  • There would be no displacement of businesses or residences
  • There would be no impact to parklands, wildlife or waterfowl refuges, recreational areas, or historic or archeological sites
