Purpose:

The purpose of the open house is to gather public input on the aesthetics plan for the SH 99 Grand Parkway H and I segment expansion project, which is from US 59 North (the Eastex Freeway) near New Caney to US 90 near Dayton to I-10 East (the East Freeway) near Mont Belvieu through Montgomery, Harris, Liberty, and Chambers counties. The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.

Description:

TxDOT will show plans to improve the aesthetics of SH 99; this segment of the Grand Parkway has been approved to substantially increase capacity along SH 99 with the construction of one to two new tolled lanes in each direction between US 59 to I-10 and four additional toll lanes from I-10 to SH 146.
