| Purpose: | The purpose of the public meetings is to present the proposed revised interim lane configuration for the initial construction phase of the US 290 corridor in Harris County. The meetings will be held in two locations, with each meeting presenting the same information. | ||
| Description: | The original roadway configuration included four east and westbound general purpose lanes, and three reversible managed lanes that was to be operated by Harris County. The proposed configuration includes:
Exhibits showing aerial photography and schematic plans for the proposed project will be available for review at the public meetings and at My290. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT. |
