| Purpose: | TxDOT will conduct a public hearing to present the preferred McHard Road alternative to the public and solicit comments on the proposed project located in Brazoria County, Texas. The first part of the meeting will be an open house format so citizens may come and go at their convenience, followed by a formal presentation and comment period. | ||
| Description: | The proposed project includes construction of approximately 3.5 miles of four-lane divided concrete roadway with the following improvements:
The roadway alignment is expected to follow existing and new locations between Cullen Boulevard and Mykawa Road in the City of Pearland, north Brazoria County. Approximately 68 acres of additional right of way would be required, including 12 residences and three businesses displaced due to the proposed project. Comments may be made at the meeting or in writing by March 8, 2017. Special accommodations: If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs.
