Public Meeting - East-West Connector from SH 360 to International Drive

6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
   
Purpose: The purpose of the meeting is to offer an opportunity for the public to discuss and comment about the proposed construction of a 1.27-mile, four-lane roadway from SH 360 at East of Harwood Road to International Parkway at Rental Car Drive on DFW Airport property.
   
Description: Highlights of the project:
  • Complete a corridor between SH 161/President George Bush Turnpike and SH 360 to promote connectivity and regional mobility for the east-west travel near the southern side of DFW Airport
  • Provide additional access for surface transportation entering and leaving DFW Airport property
  • Would require approximately 22 acres of new right of way (ROW) on DFW Airport property and 0.7 acre of existing TxDOT ROW
