FM 1171 from West of FM 156 to IH 35W
Notice of availability of finding of no significant impact (FONSI)
|Purpose||This notice advises the public that the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for the proposed FM 1171, and that the FONSI is available for public review.|
The proposed project would construct a new location roadway from West of FM 156 to IH 35W in Denton County, Texas.
The FONSI and approved final environmental assessment (EA) are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Dallas District Office 4777 E US Highway 80 Mesquite, TX 75150-6643, phone: 214-320-6100. They are also available online at https://www.keepitmovingdallas.com/FM1171.

|Memorandum of Understanding||The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.|
