| Purpose: | A public meeting will be held to gather public comment on the proposed implementation of interim bottleneck operational improvements to address localized congestion for an approximately 6.326 mile section of State Highway (SH) 161 from south of Conflans Road to north of SH 114 in Irving, Dallas County. Representatives from TxDOT, the RTC, and regional partners will be available to answer questions about the proposed project. |

| Description: | The project would convert the use of the inside shoulder to an interim operational travel lane during AM/PM peak-hours periods as a method to increase the performance of the existing highway's capacity. Proposed improvements include restriping the existing paved inside shoulder to provide an interim operational travel lane. |
