Public Meeting - 35Express Project - Middle Segment

| Purpose: | To present an update on the 35Express expansion project (I-35E Managed Lane Project) in Dallas and Denton Counties. This meeting will provide an update of the entire project, but will focus on the middle segment which includes the cities of Lewisville, Highland village, Hickory Creek and Lake Dallas. | ||
| Description: | The $1.4 billion, 30-mile 35Express expansion project limits are from US 380 in Denton County to just south of Interstate 635 (LBJ Freeway) at Crown Road in Dallas County. It passes through eight cities and two counties in the north Texas region.
The project will expand capacity by adding an additional mainlane in each direction, frontage roads, two reversible managed toll lanes and pedestrian pathways. The project also includes a new southbound bridge over Lewisville Lake and an elevated intersection at Belt Line Road in Carrollton. |
