Purpose:
To solicit public comments on the proposed roadway improvements to FM 1830, from FM 407 to US 377 in Denton County, Texas.
Description:
The proposed project would widen FM 1830 from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway. Proposed improvements would include constructing inside 12-foot wide travel lanes (one in each direction) and outside 14-foot wide travel lanes (one in each direction) for shared use by bicycles and vehicles. Sidewalks would also be constructed on each side of FM 1830 throughout the proposed project limits. Additional right of way would be required along existing FM 1830.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
