Public Hearing - Widening of I-35E from South to US 77 North of Waxahachie

Where: Waxahachie Civic Center
2000 Civic Center Lane
Waxahachie, TX 75165		 When: Tuesday, May 26 2015
Open House: 5 p.m.
Hearing: 7 p.m.
   
Purpose: The purpose of the hearing is to present the planned improvements for Interstate 35E from US 77 south of Waxahachie to US 77 north of Waxahachie in Ellis County and to receive public comment.
   
Description: The proposed project would include:
  • Reconstruction and widening 11-mile section of I-35E mainlanes from four lanes to six lanes
  • Replacement of seven bridges
  • No new right of way or easements would be required
