| Purpose: | TxDOT invites interested members of the public to attend a public meeting to review and comment on proposed improvements to US 377 from south of FM 1171 in Flower Mound to Crawford Road in Argyle, Denton County, Texas. The meeting will be held in an open house format so attendees can come and go at their convenience. | ||
| Description: | The proposed project involves the full reconstruction of the existing two-lane rural roadway to a four-way divided highway with sidewalk on 5.95 miles of US 377 from approximately 2,000 feet south of FM 1171 to approximately 1,750 feet north of Crawford Road. The purpose of the proposed project is to increase vehicle mobility and safety, decrease congestion and provide increased connectivity for alternative modes of transportation on US 377 between FM 1171 and Crawford Road in the Town of Argyle and surrounding area. The proposed improvements would potentially require approximately 16 acres of new right of way and 0.5 acre for proposed easements. | ||
