Purpose:
TxDOT Corpus Christi District will hold an open house on a proposed project to widen FM 2986 (Wildcat Drive) from US 181 to FM 3239 (Buddy Ganem Drive) in San Patricio County. The public is invited to visit with team members, ask questions, and share comments on the proposed project. No formal presentation will be made.
Description:
The proposed project includes:
- Converting the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway with a center turn lane
- Construction of curb and gutter, storm drains and a 10-foot bicycle/pedestrian shared use path
The meeting will be conducted in English. Persons interested in attending the meeting who have special communication or accommodation needs, or need an interpreter are encouraged to contact (361) 808-2509. Requests should be made two days in advance of the open house. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate these needs. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
