Open House - State Highway 361

| Purpose: | The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) invites citizens to view exhibits of the proposed improvements to State Highway (SH) 361 from Avenue G to just south of Beach Access Road 1. Members of the project development team will be available to answer questions. |

| Description: | As development on North Padre Island and Mustang Island accelerates, the traffic along SH 361 will continue to increase, especially during peak daily traffic hours and seasonal events. The SH 361 project would primarily be built while maintaining traffic within existing TxDOT right-of-way. The project would require a small sidewalk easement on the southeast corner of the Avenue G intersection (next to the Stripes). This project would involve the following improvements:
