Public Meeting – BS-6R Texas Avenue

Purpose:
TxDOT will be holding an open house meeting regarding a proposed project on BS-6R (Texas Avenue) from FM 2818 to Deacon Drive. The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.
Description:
The project would construct raised medians on BS-6R to enhance safety within this section of roadway. This design would reduce conflicts from traffic entering the roadway from adjacent properties and local streets.

Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
Comments must be received or postmarked by Dec. 22, 2017 to be included in the Open House Summary.
The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
