Open House - East Roundbunch Road Swing Bridge

Where:	Orange County Expo Building DuPont Room 11475 FM 1442 Orange, TX 77630	When:	Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Purpose:	The purpose of the open house is to present the proposed rehabilitation of the East Roundbunch Road swing bridge over Cow Bayou, just north of Lakeshore Farm Road in Orange County. The public can view project exhibits, talk with project staff and give input on proposed improvements. Citizens may come and go at their convenience.

Description:	The proposed improvements consist of the following: Improve safety and reliability by repairing and replacing key bridge features, such as mechanical and electrical systems Replace the concrete approach structures and bridge structure Purchase temporary construction easements approximately 450 feet in length No right of way is necessary; no displacements are required East Roundbunch Road will be closed during the reconstruction. The detour will be approximately seven miles in length and, at this time, the closure is expected to last approximately six months beginning in fall 2016. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting and provide comments any time on or before Oct. 7, 2014.
