Purpose:

TxDOT is conduction a public hearing to present project information and gather public input on proposed improvements on State Highway (SH) 130 from SH 45 North to SH 71 in Travis County, Texas. The hearing will begin with an open house from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. During this time, the public will be able to review available project information and exhibits, discuss the project with project staff, and ask questions. The formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by a public comment period.

Description:

Proposed improvements include:

  • Widening the existing SH 130 to add a third travel lane in each direction
  • Adding auxiliary lanes where warranted
  • Widening bridges and culverts

The project a distance of approximately 22 miles and no new right-of-way or displacements are anticipated.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
