Open House - Annual Bicycle/Pedestrian Meeting

Purpose:
The purpose of this open house is to provide information regarding transportation projects and programs that may affect bicycle use of the state transportation system within the Atlanta District of TxDOT. The Atlanta District comprises Bowie, Camp, Cass, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Panola, Titus and Upshur counties. All interested citizens are invited to attend.
Verbal and written comments regarding bicycle use of the state system in the Atlanta District are requested. Comments may be presented at the meeting or in writing within 10 days after the public meeting (postmarked on or before Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016). Written comments not turned in at the meeting should be mailed to:

Any interested citizen may request that this meeting be formalized into a public hearing by submitting a written request to Molly Berridge at the above mentioned address on or before Monday, Oct. 10, 2016. If TxDOT receives such a request, the public meeting to be held Oct. 24, 2016, will be conducted as a formal public hearing.
Description:
The meeting will be an open house, come-and-go format with no formal presentation. Maps and potential project lists will be on display to show upcoming transportation projects on the state system in the Atlanta District.
