| Purpose: | The TxDOT Atlanta District is seeking public comments for a proposed revision to the 2015-2018 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP). The purpose of this revision is to add the SH149 project to the project listing in fiscal year 2016. The proposed revision to the 2015-2018 RTIP and comment sheet may be viewed at the Atlanta District Office prior to the meeting. This will be an open house meeting with no formal presentation. The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view the document, ask questions and offer written comments. Anyone who needs project information or special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is encouraged to call (903) 799-1308. Requests should be made at least three days prior to the public meeting so reasonable accommodations may be made. |

| Description: | The SH 149 project (from US 79 to 0.8 miles south of SH 315) in Panola County would widen the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided highway and include construction of an interchange at SH 315 and a turnaround at US 79. | ||
