Public Meeting - Bicycle Use Within the Atlanta District

Purpose:
The purpose of the public meeting is to provide information regarding transportation projects and programs that might affect bicycle use of the state system within the Atlanta District. The Atlanta District includes Bowie, Camp, Cass, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Panola, Titus, and Upshur Counties. The meeting will be conducted in an open house format so attendees can come and go at their convenience. Any interested citizen may request that this meeting be formalized into a public hearing by submitting a written request on/or before Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
