Purpose:
The purpose of the open house is to provide a project update and gather public input on the proposed widening improvements to State Highway (SH) 155. The meeting will be an open house format so citizens may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.
Description:
The project runs from 0.3 mile east of US 259 to Glendia Drive in Upshur County. The project is located approximately 3.1 miles northeast of Ore City, Texas. Approximately 0.6 acre of additional right of way and one 0.4 acre temporary easement would be required for this project.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
