Public Meeting - Atlanta Rural Transportation Improvement Program

Purpose: The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Atlanta District, will conduct a public meeting to solicit public comments and input to the Proposed 2017-2020 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP). The RTIP is a mechanism used by TxDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to fund projects for the next four years and includes all federally funded projects.

The 2017-2020 RTIP and comment sheet may be viewed at the Atlanta District Office prior to the meeting.

This will be an open house meeting with no formal presentation for the proposed 2017-2020 RTIP. The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view the document, ask questions and offer written comments.

The public review and comment period begins May 12, 2016, and ends May 23, 2016, at the close of business. 

Anyone who needs project information or special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is encouraged to call (903) 799-1308. Requests should be made at least three days prior to the public meeting so reasonable accommodations may be made.
