Virtual details The virtual public hearing will be available at the date and time listed.
Purpose The purpose of this hearing is to provide information regarding transportation projects and programs that might affect bicycle use on the state system within the Atlanta District. The Atlanta District consists of Bowie, Camp, Cass, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Panola, Titus, and Upshur counties. A presentation showing bicycle and pedestrian roadway accommodations will be shown during the virtual hearing and you will have the chance to provide verbal or written comments by phone, mail, or email.
Description All interested persons are invited to attend this public hearing to obtain information about the district transportation projects, programs, and policies affecting bicycle-use on the state highway system and to express their views.
Accessibility The virtual public hearing will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the Virtual Public Hearing, please Jason Overmyer, Atlanta District, at (903) 799-1205 no later than 4 p.m. CT, Friday, Dec. 9, 2022. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the Texas Department of Transportation to arrange.
