| Purpose: | The purpose of the public meeting is to present proposed improvements at the intersection of SL 335 (Lakeside Drive) and Interstate 40. | ||
| Description: | TxDOT, in conjunction with the Amarillo Metropolitan Planning Organization, is proposing improvements to construct new turnarounds on the I-40 frontage roads at the intersection of SL 335 (Lakeside Drive) and I-40. All interested residents are invited to attend this public meeting to express their views and discuss the project with TxDOT representatives. Comments are welcome any time on or before Feb. 16, 2015. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT. |
