Other materials that have been used by TxDOT on an experimental basis or have seen substantial use by other transportation agencies warrant discussion here. These other materials include epoxy paints, polyurea, modified urethane, methyl methacrylate, and heated-in-place thermoplastic. Each material is available from multiple vendors.
