Project Review

Within 30 days of project completion, the LG must submit to
TxDOT a "certification of compliance" that is signed and sealed by a professional engineer licensed in the state of Texas. This notice will initiate a site inspection of the completed project and a final project records review to be performed by TxDOT.

Local Government Project Management Guide
(LGPM Guide) describes the procedures that must be followed to complete the process.

    – Requires procedures to provide adequate assurance that the quantities of completed work are determined accurately and on a uniform basis. All such determinations and all related source documents upon which payment is based shall be a matter of record.
  2. 2 CFR §200.344(a)
    –
    The pass-through entity must close out the award when it determines that all administrative actions and required work of the award have been completed.
