, Required Contract Provisions Federal-aid Construction Contracts, is a collection of contract provisions and proposal notices required by regulations disseminated by FHWA and other federal agencies. The provisions contained in Form FHWA-1273 are applicable to all federal-aid construction projects and must be made a part of, and physically incorporated into, all contracts, as well as all lower-tier subcontracts.

. Minor additions covering other requirements may be included in a separate supplemental specification, provided they do not conflict with state or federal laws and regulations and do not change the intent of the required contract provisions.
Other certifications, covering provisions related to certain prohibited boycott and discriminatory actions, and disclosures of public information are required for transportation projects performed in the state of Texas.
Federal Requirements
