Project Documentation
Regardless of the type of arrangement under which the utility is adjusting the facility, the TxDOT Inspector
must
keep diary entries. The inspectors should realize that their diary records afford support for reimbursement to the utility. These diaries should:
- document all appropriate dates
- document inclement weather and down time,
- document verbal authorization for minor changes,
- record the locations, depths, or heights of adjusted facilities, and other information necessary to coordinate transportation project and utility construction, and
- document notable incidents.
