Overview
Interagency cooperation contracts (IAC) are
used when a state agency needs necessary and authorized services
or resources from another state agency. IACs must conform to Tex.
Gov’t Code ch. 771.
When TxDOT is the Performing Agency, it is committing its
resources (employees, time, equipment, supplies, etc.) to assist
another agency.
When TxDOT is the Receiving Agency, it is compensating another
agency for providing goods or services.
