Submit Your Suggestion
Thank you for sharing your good ideas with TxDOT!
We recognize the need to rethink, innovate and continually update how TxDOT does business, such as with smarter transportation plans, safer road/bridge designs, faster construction projects, better maintenance practices, and finding ways to save money. We need suggestions that provide thoughtful ideas on how to think and work differently.
We are interested in gathering ideas that extend to all the different operations in TxDOT. After you submit this form, your idea will be reviewed and may be added to a quarterly survey allowing the public to vote on the suggestion. It is important to provide as much information as possible to avoid any misinterpretation of your suggestion. We want to ensure that your suggestion is clear and accurate in the event it is selected for public voting.
Take the Survey
This survey allows you to vote on cost-efficiency suggestions proposed by TxDOT employees. TxDOT values your feedback but can’t guarantee that winning suggestions will be implemented. Please tell us whether you agree, disagree or are neutral in regard to each of the proposed suggestions. We appreciate your time and input.
TxDOT will moderate suggestions or ideas submitted to exclude, at a minimum, overtly political or offensive language. Any information provided may be subject to release under the Public Information Act. Also, TxDOT will process any suggestions from active department employees in accordance with Texas Government Code Section 2054.1264. For more information about public voting on suggestions, visit the Innovation and Cost-Efficiency Suggestions Program webpage.
We value your input and will take your suggestions seriously, but complaints are not suggestions. Please refer to the formal TxDOT process for complaints. Also, TxDOT offers construction project websites for members of the public to communicate with project staff.
The Innovation and Cost-Efficiency program is dedicated to asking everyone “how would you make TxDOT work better, faster and safer?” We look forward to reviewing your suggestion on how to improve TxDOT!
