Toll 49 (Lindale Reliever Route) Project

Project Overview

The Northeast Texas Regional Mobility Authority (NET RMA) has allocated funds for the construction of Toll 49, Segment 4 from I-20 north to US 69. TxDOT originally developed the project as a relief route for the community of Lindale. Since that time, the agencies have worked together to complete the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and the required Interchange Access Justification Report (IAJR) associated with the project.

Details

Proposed improvements include:

  • Initial construction of a two-lane controlled access facility with ramp connections at I-20, FM 16 and US 69.

The project requires the acquisition of new right-of-way.
