TEMPLE – Beginning Saturday, March 16 at 8 p.m. and ending Sunday, March 17 at 11:45 a.m., one mainlane of northbound I-35 will be closed between Exit 302/Nugent Avenue and North Loop 363.

During this time, crews will be striping the new pavement, resetting concrete barrier, and shifting northbound traffic onto the new northbound pavement, one lane at a time.

Also during this time, the temporary Exit 304 to North Loop 363 will be permanently closed.

Once the work is complete, traffic will be travelling on two lanes of new northbound pavement from Baker Boulevard to North Loop 363. In addition, the permanent new Exit 303 (to Spur 290/Industrial Boulevard/Third Street), and the new Exit 304 (to North Loop 363) will open, along with the permanent new North Loop 363 entrance ramp.

Please remember to obey traffic control equipment and signage in the work zone, and be prepared for changes in traffic as the work progresses. See map for more information.

This work is planned weather permitting (this work was previously scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 2-3, but was postponed due to bad weather).
