Design improvements will allow safer access for homes south of I-10 and west of Johnson Draw during flood events and give I-10 traffic more exit time
The public is invited to attend a special session of the Crockett County Commissioner’s Court on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, starting at 5:30 p.m. Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) representatives will present information and accept public suggestions on the proposed relocation of the eastbound I-10 exit ramp 365 and the extension of the south frontage road from just west of Rio Grande Street to SH 163 in Ozona. A formal presentation will begin at 6 p.m.
TxDOT proposes the following:
The meeting will be held at the Crockett County Courthouse, main courtroom, 907 Ave. D in Ozona and will be conducted in English. Maps showing the proposed project location and geometric design will be available for viewing at the meeting, which will be held in an open house format from 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Persons interested in attending the meeting who have special communication or accommodation needs, or need an interpreter, are encouraged to contact the San Angelo District’s environmental coordinator at (325) 947-9261. Requests should be made at least two days prior to the public meeting. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate these needs.
