PARIS – Texas Department of Transportation officials today announced that work on the State Highway 276 bridge over Bull Creek in Rains County will begin Oct. 7.
The contractor, FNH Construction LLC, was granted 45 working days, weather permitting, to complete this project valued at more than $1 million. The target completion date for this work to repair shoring on the bridge is Dec. 11, 2019, officials said.
Motorists who regularly travel on this portion of State Highway 276 are asked to remain alert and pay special attention to all signs, barricades and traffic controls, and reduce their speed as they approach and travel through this work zone. They should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems.
