PARIS – Texas Department of Transportation officials today announced that work to overlay a new pavement surface on a portion of State Highway 24/50 in Hunt County will begin May 13.
This project will affect SH 24/50 from its intersection with I-30 northward to FM 513. Work crews will overlay a new hot-mix asphalt pavement surface on the roadway. The target completion date for this project is May 24, officials said.
Motorists who regularly travel in this area in Hunt County are asked to pay special attention to all signs, barricades and traffic controls, and to reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones. They should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems.
