PARIS – Texas Department of Transportation officials today announced that concrete curb and drainage work will begin April 8 at the intersection of FM 1903 and Interstate Highway 30 in Hunt County.
Contractor J.R. Pope Company, Inc., was granted 30 working days, weather permitting, to complete this project valued at more than $196,000, TxDOT officials said. The target date for completion of this project is May 2019.
The contractor will install concrete curb and a drainage flume at the southeast corner this intersection.
Motorists who regularly travel near this intersection on I-30 in Hunt County are asked to pay special attention to all signs, barricades and traffic controls, and to reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones. They should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems.
