Work is scheduled to begin to replace three bridges in San Augustine County that will require a road closure beginning next week.

Crews are scheduled to begin work Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, that will include the replacement of three off-system bridges. As barricades are set, CR 205 at Black Creek and CR 141 at Palo Gaucho Bayou will be closed to traffic. The bridge replacement project will also include CR 313 at Ayish Bayou.

Stateline Construction, LLC, Quitman TX, will serve as contractor for the $1.1 million construction project. As this project begins, motorists are urged to be aware of workers and moving equipment near the work zones. Obey all traffic control and choose alternate routes as work progresses.
