Crews are scheduled to begin night work tonight that will continue nightly through Aug. 19 at two major intersections in Nacogdoches County, which will require bridge closures.
Crews are scheduled to continue bridge maintenance work tonight on SH 21 East and SL 224. Upon completion, crews will move to US 59 South and SL 224. Work will continue nightly through August 19, weather permitting, until work is completed.
Motorists traveling US 59 northbound will be diverted to SL 224, and motorists traveling on SL 224 northbound and southbound will be diverted to exit ramps at SH 21 East. Traffic control and signage will be in place to alert motorists of the closures.
Motorists are urged to reduce speed near these intersections, be prepared for possible delays, or choose alternate routes. For more information regarding construction and road closures statewide, visit Drivetexas.org.
