Motorists can expect heavy traffic and delays on US 190 in Polk County beginning Friday and Saturday for the funeral and procession of Alabama-Coushatta Indian Principal Chief Mikko Colabe III Clem Fain Sylestine.
On Friday from 3-4 pm and Saturday from noon to 6 pm, State Park Road 56 will be closed in coordination with the services. State Park Road 56 intersects with US 190 West and travels south through the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation.
Motorists should be alert and expect heavier than normal traffic on US 190 West Friday and Saturday. Reduce speed and expect possible delays or choose alternate routes.
