LITTLEFIELD – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is scheduled to begin a $746,929 project on Monday, June 4, that will make roadway improvements to Loop 430 (East Delano Avenue) and the Denim Road intersection.

“Construction will focus on the east end of Loop 430 and require TxDOT to close a short segment of the road to through traffic. The eastbound US 84 ramp to Loop 430 will also be closed,” said Steve Perez, P.E., Littlefield area engineer. “Traffic will be rerouted around the work zone via US 385 and US 84.”

Project contractor is Allen Butler Construction, Inc. of Lubbock. Work will take place weather permitting and is scheduled to conclude in late-summer 2018.
