FORT WORTH – All interested citizens are invited to attend a public meeting for proposed improvements to the interchanges at I-820, I-20 and US 287 in Southeast Tarrant County called the Southeast Connector. The meeting will be held on Thursday, July 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Dunbar High School located at 5700 Ramey Avenue in Fort Worth. The public meeting will be an open house format, allowing visitors to come and go at their own availability.
The proposed project will improve mobility and safety and provide transportation options for travelers through the area. Proposed improvements evaluated include additional mainlanes, entrance and exit ramp adjustments, frontage road intersection improvements, and bicycle and pedestrian accommodations.
Maps and other drawings depicting the project will be displayed at the public meeting. Interested persons will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer comments.
