Loop 375 Widening Project

Sunday, June 26 to Thursday, June 30

Nightly, 9 p.m.- 5 a.m.

• Loop 375 Northbound Main lanes closure from Zaragoza (Port of Entry) to Pellicano Drive
• Traveling public will detour along northbound Joe Battle Boulevard (frontage road) to enter Pellicano

Crews will be working on grinding roadway, hot mix placement and concrete paving placements 

 

Monday, June 27 and Tuesday, June 28

Daily, 6a.m.-4p.m.

• Pan American entrance ramp to Loop 375 southbound and left lane will be closed
• Traveling public will continue along southbound America Avenue (frontage road) to next available entrance ramp at Zaragoza (frontage road)

Crews will be working on bridge foundations.

 

Monday, June 27 through Wednesday June 29

Daily 9a.m.-4p.m.

• Alameda Exit Ramp left lane closure

Crews will be installing TXDOT utilities camera.

 

Monday, June 27 through Wednesday June 29

Nightly, 9p.m.-5p.m.

• Southbound Alameda exit ramp and southbound frontage overpass closed

Crews will be working on installing TXDOT fiber optic.

 

Monday, June 27 through Thursday June 30

• Joe Battle Boulevard (frontage road) northbound left lane closure from Rojas Drive to Paseo del Este Drive

Crews will be working on high masts.

 

Monday, June 27 through Friday, July 1

Daily from 9a.m.-4p.m.

• South Americas Intersection eastbound right lane closure and underpass

Crews will work on bridge structures at South Americas

 

Continuous closures until further notice

• S Americas Avenue northbound to southbound turnaround at Pan American Drive will be closed
• S Americas Avenue southbound to northbound turnaround at Pan American Drive will be closed
• S Americas Avenue northbound to southbound turnaround at Socorro Road will be closed
• S Americas Avenue southbound to northbound turnaround at Socorro Road will be closed
• S Americas Avenue northbound to southbound turnaround at North Loop Drive will be closed
• S Americas Avenue southbound to northbound turnaround at North Loop Drive will be closed
• Loop 375 southbound to northbound truck turnaround at S Americas will be closed
• S Americas Avenue northbound to southbound turnaround at Alameda Avenue will be closed

Crews will be widening LP 375 main lane bridge structures

Daily, from 9 a.m. until Noon

• Montana Avenue US-62 eastbound frontage road full closure between Oasis Drive and Smoke Signal Drive

Monday, June 27 and Tuesday, June 28

Daily, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

• Montana Avenue US-62 westbound frontage road right lane closure between Joe Battle Boulevard and Leticia Street

Crews will be doing low-Pro moving

 

Zaragoza Mill and Inlay Project

Sunday, June 26 through Thursday, June 30

Nightly, from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. (overnight)

• N Zaragoza Road (FM 659) northbound and southbound alternating left lane and right lane closures between George Dieter Drive and Saul Kleinfeld Drive
• Traffic will be reduced to one lane in work areas  

Crews will be constructing center medians and striping

• N Zaragoza Road (FM 659) northbound and southbound alternating left and right lane closures between North Loop Drive and Gateway Boulevard West
• Traffic will be reduced to one lane in work areas  

Crews will be removing and installing illumination poles

Crews will be constructing center medians, pavement, and striping

• Zaragoza Road (FM 659) northbound and southbound left lane closures between Edgemere Boulevard and John Hayes Drive
• Traffic will be reduced to one lane in work areas  

Crews will be constructing illumination conduit and foundations

 

Overlay, Safety Lighting Project

Sunday, June 26 through Thursday, June 30

Nightly, from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.

• Alameda Avenue (SH-20) east and westbound inside lane closure between Ivey Road to Moon Road

Crews will be pouring median construction

 

Construction of Safety Lighting Project

Monday, June 27 through Friday, July 01

Daily, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

• Dyer Street (US 54) northbound and southbound left lane closure from Hondo Pass Drive to Sanders Avenue
• Lanes will be reduced to two lanes in work area

Crews will be constructing new safety lighting

 

Horizon/Alameda Raised Median Project

Monday, June 27 through Friday, July 01

Daily, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.

• Horizon Boulevard (FM-1281) northbound right lane closure between Darrington Road and Kenazo Avenue
• Horizon Boulevard (FM-1281) northbound right lane closure between Bowdoin Street Road and Ashford Street
• Traffic will be reduced to one lane in work areas

Crews will be constructing pedestrian refuge islands and sidewalks

 

District Wide Striping Project

Sunday, June 26 through Thursday, June 30

Nightly, from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.

• Doniphan Drive (SH-20) Texas/New Mexico State Line to Artcraft Drive (SH-178)

Crews will be performing mobile operations on removing and replacing roadway pavement markings including intersections

 

Sergeant Major Operational Improvements

Continuous until further notice

• Loop 375 northbound and southbound complete closure at Sergeant Major Boulevard Exit ramps
• Sergeant Major entrance gates closed
• Traffic traveling northbound and southbound will detour at Liberty Expressway and exit at Constitution Avenue

Crews will be constructing northbound and southbound turn-around lanes and installing traffic signals at intersection

 

IH-10 Widening – East

Continuous until further notice

• I-10 eastbound and westbound left shoulder closures between Horizon Boulevard and Eastlake Boulevard
• Traffic traveling westbound will be reduced to one lane

Crews will be hot mix behind concrete traffic barrier and installing high mast illumination poles

Widening will consist of continuously reinforced concrete pavement, base, grading, drainage improvements, illumination, signing, pavement markings, delineators, safety fence, ITS upgrades, and Wrong Way driving systems

 

Median Concrete Barrier Project

Continuous until further notice

• Montana Avenue (US 62/180) eastbound and westbound complete left lane closure between RM 124 and RM 126 (Guadalupe Peak)
• Traffic will be reduced to one lane in work areas  

Closure is necessary for installation of median concrete barrier

 

RM 652 Full Rehabilitation Project

Continuous until further notice

• RM 652 westbound continuous left lane closure 8.36 miles east of FM 3541 to Reeves County Line
• Continuous two-way traffic, one-lane work zone requiring traffic to be alternating onto one lane and controlled by Temporary Traffic Signals with a 14-foot lane width restriction

Closure is necessary for the construction of new roadway consisting of full depth rehabilitation

 

RM 652 Full Depth Rehabilitation Project

Continuous until further notice

• RM 652 continuous left lane closure 5.4 miles east of Montana Avenue (US 62/180) to RM 1165/652
• Continuous two-way traffic, one-lane work zone requiring traffic to be alternating onto one lane and controlled by Temporary Traffic Signals with an 18-foot lane width restriction

Closure is necessary for the electric work, rock wall installation, RCP pipe and inlet

 

RM 652 Widening Project

Continuous until further notice

• RM 652 continuous alternating eastbound and westbound left lane closures between RM 1165/652 and 0.91 mile west of FM 3541
• Continuous two-way traffic, one-lane work zone requiring traffic to be alternating onto one lane and controlled by Temporary Traffic Signals with a 14-foot lane width restriction

Closure is necessary for the construction of new roadway consisting of full depth rehabilitation

 

Curb Installation

Monday, June 27

Daily 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• I-10 westbound right shoulder closure from Eastlake Overpass to Americas Interchange
• Eastlake Entrance Ramp
• Traffic on frontage road will enter the interstate after Bill Burnett Drive

 

Crews will be installing curb in the area.

 

Please follow the detour signs in place on all projects.  All work is dependent upon weather conditions.
