Van Horn Rest Areas Project

Continuous

  • I-10 Eastbound: The right lane will be closed, east of Wild Horse Road, at mile marker 149 to just West of Michigan flats mile marker 150.
  • The closure is to allow the contractor to set barriers, mill the right shoulder, placed cement treated subgrade and asphalt for the New EB Rest Area exit ramp. 
  • Speed reduction from 80 MPH to 65 MPH will be in place.
  • Northbound frontage road will remain closed. 

Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020- Friday, Dec. 18, 2020

Continuous

  • I-10 Westbound: The right lane will be closed, west of Michigan flats mile marker 151, to just east of Wild Horse Road.mile marker 150.
  • The closure is to allow the contractor to set barriers, mill the right shoulder, placed cement treated subgrade and asphalt for the New WB Rest Area exit ramp.  
  • Speed reduction from 80 MPH to 65 MPH will be in place.
  • North Frontage road between Michigan Flats and Wild horse Road will remain closed.
