Guardrail Repair Project

Friday, July 13
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Right lane closure on I-10 westbound between the Raynolds exit ramp to the Raynolds entrance ramp

Monday, July 16
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Right lane closure on US 54 southbound between Porter Street to Frankfort Avenue
  • Gateway Boulevard South Tomkins entrance ramp will be closed

Tuesday, July 17
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Right lane closure on Spur 601 eastbound between Chaffee Road to Airport Road
  • Spur 601 eastbound Airport exit ramp will be closed
  • Left lane closure on Gateway Boulevard West between Estrella Street to Raynor Street (fence repair)

Wednesday, July 18
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • I-10 at West University and Sun Bowl entrance ramp will be closed
  • Crews will be repairing damaged guardrail in the area

US 54 Widening and Illumination Project

Saturday, July 14 through Monday, July 16
3 a.m. to 5 a.m. (continuous)

  • Complete closure of US 54 southbound between Hondo Pass Drive and Hercules Avenue
  • Crews will be working on the pedestrian bridge, pouring concrete and then letting it cure
  • Detour: Southbound traffic will exit US 54 southbound Hercules exit ramp, go through Hercules and Dyer intersections and back onto the freeway at Dyer-US 54

Monday, July 16 through Friday, July 20
8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Left lane closures on Gateway Boulevard South at Hondo Pass
  • Right lane closure westbound at the Hondo Pass underpass
  • Alternate lane closures on Gateway Boulevard North and South between Hondo Pass Drive to Transmountain

Permanent closures (until further notice)

  • East and westbound Diana underpass will be closed
  • Left lane closure on Gateway Boulevard North after Hondo Pass
  • Left lane closure on Gateway South between the Border Patrol Station to Hondo Pass Drive
  • Northbound Hondo Pass turnaround will be closed
  • Northbound Hondo Pass entrance ramp will be closed on US 54
  • Northbound Diana exit ramp will be closed on US 54
  • Southbound Diana entrance and exit ramps will be closed
  • Southbound Hondo Pass exit ramp will be closed
  • Detour: Northbound traffic will need to exit at the Dyer/Hercules exit ramp (Exit 26) to access Hondo Pass Drive and Diana Drive. Southbound traffic will need to exit at the Transmountain exit ramp to access Diana Drive and Hondo Pass Drive. Transmountain traffic will need to stay on the frontage roads and re-enter at the Hondo Pass entrance ramp.

Spalling Repair Project

Sunday, July 15 through Thursday, July 19
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (nightly)

  • I-10 eastbound at Paisano - three left lanes closed 
  • I-10 eastbound at Raynolds entrance ramp closed
  • Crews will be repairing spalled concrete pavement (potholes) in the area

Mesa Park Project

Sunday, July 15 through Thursday, July 19
9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (nightly)

  • Complete closure on I-10 eastbound at Executive
  • Detour: Eastbound traffic will exit at the Executive exit ramp and re-enter at Downtown

Sunday, July 22 through Thursday, July 26
9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (nightly)

  • Complete closure on I-10 Eastbound at Executive
  • Detour: Eastbound traffic will exit at the Executive exit ramp and re-enter at Downtown

Sunday, July 29 through Thursday, August 2
9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (nightly)

  • Complete closure on I-10 eastbound at Sunland Park
  • Detour: Traffic will exit at Sunland Park and re-enter at Executive
  • Crews will be repaving shoulder, restriping and working on existing roadway

Montana/Mattox Traffic and Operation Improvements Project

Monday through Friday (until further notice)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Alternate lane closure on Montana (US 62/180) east and westbound between Hawkins Boulevard and Rutherglen Street

Monday, July 16 through Friday, July 20
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly (until further notice)

  • Alternate lane closures on Montana (US 62/180) east and westbound between Hawkins Boulevard and Rutherglen Street

Monday, July 23
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (one night)

  • Full closure of Montana (US 62/180) between Hawkins Boulevard and Rutherglen Street
  • Crews will be setting barrier in the median

Tuesday, July 24 through Friday, August 3
Continuous new reconfiguration until further notice

  • Montana (US 62/180) east will be reduced to two lanes between Hawkins Boulevard and Rutherglen Street
  • Crews will be working on traffic signals and operation improvements in the area.

Maintenance  

Monday, July 16 through Friday, July 20
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Right lane closure on Cesar Chavez/Border Highway (Loop 375) westbound between Fonseca to the Bridge of the Americas
  • Ramp O (Cesar Chavez/Border Highway (Loop 375) west to US 54 north)
  • Alternate entrance and exit ramp closures on Cesar Chavez/Border Highway (Loop 375) east and westbound between Fonseca to Zaragoza
  • Ramp on US 54 south to Spur 601 east will be closed 
  • Right lane closure on US 54 southbound between Pershing to Yandell
  • US 54 northbound Pershing entrance ramp will be closed

Westway Project Phase III

Monday, July 16 through Friday, July 20
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Complete closure on North Desert Boulevard between Anthony and Vinton
  • Northbound Vinton entrance ramp to I-10 west will be closed

Tuesday, July 17 and Wednesday, July 18
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (nightly)

  • Complete closure on I-10 east and westbound at the Vinton overpass
  • Crews will be hanging beams at the new turnaround bridge

Lane closure effective: (until further notice)

  • Left lane closure on I-10 eastbound between Valley Chili to Vinton
  • Right lane closure on Westway (frontage road) eastbound between Westway Boulevard to Anthony Street
  • Valley Chili Road underpass will be closed
  • Crews will be working on new frontage roads rehabilitation in the area.
  • Advisory: Lane restrictions are 12 feet width.
