Mesa Park Interchange Project

Sunday, July 8 through Thursday, July 12
9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (nightly)

  • Complete closure of I-10 westbound at Executive
  • Traffic will exit at Executive, detour to Mesa and re-enter I-10 at Mesa on-ramp.

Sunday, July 15 through Thursday, July 19
9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • Complete closure of I-10 eastbound at Executive entering at Downtown entrance Wyoming Avenue on-ramp

Sunday, July 22 through Thursday, July  26
9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • Complete closure of I-10 eastbound at Sunland Park
  • Detour traffic at Sunland Park and re-enter at Executive

Sunday, July 29 through Thursday, Aug. 2
9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • Complete closure of I-10 eastbound at Sunland Park
  • Detour traffic at Sunland Park and re-enter at Executive

Spalling Repair Project

Sunday, July 8 through Monday, July 9
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (nightly)

  • I-10 eastbound at Paisano 3 Left lanes closed 
  • I-10 eastbound at Raynolds entrance ramp closed
  • Crews will be repairing spalled concrete pavement (potholes) in the area.

Guardrail Repair Project

Friday, July 6
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Right lane closure on Cesar Chavez/Border Highway (Loop 375) westbound between the Midway entrance ramp to the Fonseca exit ramp

Monday, July 9
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Right lane closure on Cesar Chavez/Border Highway (Loop 375) eastbound between Fonseca entrance ramp to the Midway exit ramp
  • Eastbound Fonseca entrance ramp will be closed

Tuesday, July 10
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Left lane closure on I-10 eastbound between the Redd Road entrance ramp to the Mesa exit ramp

Wednesday, July 11
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Left lane closure on I-10 eastbound between Anthony Zero entrance ramp to the Vinton entrance ramp
  • I-10 eastbound Transmountain exit ramp will be closed

Thursday, July 12
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Right lane closure on Transmountain (Loop 375) eastbound between the Picnic Station and the Museum

Friday, July 13
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Right lane closure on I-10 westbound between the Raynolds exit ramp to the Raynolds entrance ramp
  • I-10 westbound Raynolds entrance ramp will be closed
  • Crews will be repairing damaged guardrail in the area

US 54 Widening and Illumination Project

Monday, July 9 through Friday, July 13
7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Left lane closures on Gateway Boulevard South at Hondo Pass
  • Right lane closure westbound at the Hondo Pass underpass
  • Alternate lane closures on Gateway Boulevard North and South between Hondo Pass Drive to Transmountain

Tuesday, July 10 through Thursday, July 12
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (nightly)

  • Full closure of US 54 southbound
  • Crews will be working on the pedestrian bridge, repairing broken strands
  • Traffic will exit US 54 southbound Hercules off-ramp, go through Hercules and Dyer intersections and back onto the freeway at Dyer-US 54

Saturday, July 14 through Monday, July 16
3 a.m. to 5 a.m. (continuous)

  • Full closure of US 54 southbound
  • Crews will be working on the pedestrian bridge, pouring concrete and then letting it cure
  • Traffic will exit US 54 southbound Hercules off-ramp, go through Hercules and Dyer intersections and back onto the freeway at Dyer-US 54

Permanent Closures (until further notice)

  • East and westbound Diana underpass will be closed
  • Left lane closure on Gateway Boulevard North after Hondo Pass
  • Left lane closure on Gateway South between the Border Patrol Station to Hondo Pass Drive
  • Northbound Hondo Pass turnaround will be closed
  • Northbound Hondo Pass entrance ramp will be closed on US 54
  • Northbound Diana exit ramp will be closed on US 54
  • Southbound Diana entrance and exit ramps will be closed
  • Southbound Hondo Pass exit ramp will be closed
  • Detour: Northbound traffic will need to exit at the Dyer/Hercules exit ramp (Exit 26) to access Hondo Pass Drive and Diana Drive. Southbound traffic will need to exit at the Transmountain exit ramp to access Diana Drive and Hondo Pass Drive. Transmountain traffic will need to stay on the frontage roads and re-enter at the Hondo Pass entrance ramp.
  • Crews will be repairing potholes in the area.

Montana/Mattox Traffic and Operation Improvements Project

Monday through Friday (until further notice)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Alternate lane closure on Montana (US 62/180) east and westbound between Hawkins Boulevard and Rutherglen Street  
  • Crews will be working on traffic signals and operation improvements in the area.

Maintenance

Monday, July 9 through Friday, July 13
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Right lane closure on Cesar Chavez/Border Highway (Loop 375) westbound between Fonseca to the Bridge of the Americas
  • Ramp O (Cesar Chavez/Border Highway (Loop 375) west to US 54 north)
  • Alternate entrance and exit ramp closures on Cesar Chavez/Border Highway (Loop 375) east and westbound between Fonseca to Zaragoza
  • Ramp on US 54 south to Spur 601 east will be closed 
  • Right lane closure on US 54 southbound between Pershing to Yandell
  • US 54 northbound Pershing entrance ramp will be closed 

Westway Project Phase III

Monday, July 9 through Friday, July 13
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (throughout the day)

  • Complete closure on North Desert Boulevard between Anthony and Vinton
  • Northbound Vinton entrance ramp to I-10 west will be closed

Lane closure effective: (until further notice)

  • Left lane closure on I-10 eastbound between Valley Chili to Vinton
  • Right lane closure on Westway (frontage road) eastbound between Westway Boulevard to Anthony Street
  • Valley Chili Road underpass will be closed
  • Crews will be working on new frontage roads rehabilitation in the area.
  • Advisory: Lane restrictions are 12 feet width.

Tuesday, July 10, 2018
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (night)

  • Complete closure on I-10 east and westbound at the Vinton overpass
  • Crews will be hanging beams at the new Turnaround Bridge

Please follow the detour signs in place on all projects. All work is dependent upon weather conditions.
