I-10/Americas - Phase IV Project

Tuesday, April 17, through Friday, April 20 (complete closure)
8 p.m. - 5 a.m. (overnight)

  • I-10 eastbound closure between Lee Trevino overpass and Eastlake overpass
  • I-10 eastbound to Loop 375 northbound connector
  • I-10 eastbound to Loop 375 southbound connector
  • Loop 375 northbound to I-10 eastbound connector
  • Loop 375 southbound to I-10 eastbound connector
  • Zaragoza and Lee Trevino entrance ramps
  • Crews will be striping
  • Please follow detour signs in place

Joe Battle (Loop 375) Widening Project

Sunday, April 15 (complete closure)
9 p.m. - 5 a.m. (overnight)

  • Northbound closure along Joe Battle Blvd (Loop 375) between Edgemere overpass and Montana Avenue (US 62/180) overpass
  • Edgemere entrance ramp
  • Crews will be installing overhead signs
  • Please follow detour signs in place

Monday, April 16 (complete closure)
9 p.m. - 5 a.m. (overnight)

  • Northbound closure along Joe Battle Blvd (Loop 375) between Bob Hope overpass and Zaragoza overpass
  • Bob Hope entrance ramp
  • Crews will be moving portable concrete traffic barriers, installing overhead signs, and adding new striping
  • Please follow detour signs in place

Tuesday, April 17 (complete closure)
9 p.m. - 5 a.m. (overnight)

  • Northbound closure along Joe Battle Blvd (Loop 375) between Pebble Hills Blvd overpass and Edgemere Blvd overpass
  • Pebble Hills entrance ramp
  • Crews will be installing overhead signs
  • Please follow detour signs in place

Traffic Signal Work

Through Friday, April 27 (complete closure)
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

  • Trowbridge Drive/Paisano Drive (US 62) intersection alternating northbound, southbound, eastbound, westbound lane closures
  • Crews will be installing traffic signals and ADA ramp replacement
  • Please follow detour signs in place

Alameda Reconstruction Project

Monday, April 9, through Friday, June 29
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (until further notice)

  • Alameda Avenue (SH 20) alternating lane closures eastbound and westbound between Presa Place and Carnes Road as needed
  • Closures are necessary for placement of new drainage/waterline, concrete paving, sidewalk and illuminations
  • Please follow detour signs in place

Fountains Braided Ramp Project

Sunday, April 15 (complete closure)
9 p.m. - 5 a.m. (overnight)

  • I-10 eastbound between Airway overpass and Hawkins overpass
  • Crews will be removing overhead signage
  • Please follow detour signs in place

Monday, April 16, through Friday, April 27
8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

  • Gateway West Boulevard alternating eastbound and westbound right or left lane closures between Viscount Boulevard and Airway Boulevard
  • Crews will be installing high mast illumination
  • Please follow detour signs in place

Wednesday, April 25, and Thursday, April 26
9 p.m.- 5 a.m.

  • I-10 West at McRae
  • Crews will be installing beams
  • Traffic will exit at McRae and reenter I-10 at Viscount

Until further notice

  • Gateway East reduced to one lane between Airway Boulevard and Hawkins Boulevard
  • Gateway West reduced to one lane between Viscount Boulevard and Hawkins Boulevard
  • I-10 eastbound Hawkins exit ramp closed
  • I-10 westbound Hawkins exit ramp closed

Traffic Management System

Saturday, April 14
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (rolling closures)

The following closures are necessary for the installations of lane assignment signs and modifications of signal heads.

  • Left two lanes on Americas South at Socorro Road - (closed for 1 hour)
  • Right two lanes on Americas South at Socorro Road - (closed for 2 hours)
  • Left turn lane at Socorro Road westbound - (closed for 3 hours)
  • Left two lanes on Americas North at Socorro Road - (closed for 3 hours)

Please follow the detour signs in place on all projects. All work is dependent upon weather conditions.
